Well, I’m back out in Utah for the second of my four business trips. Last time I really didn’t do any sightseeing, so I’m going to try and do a little this time around. The last time I was here I noticed a road heading up into the mountains and thought it would be neat to drive it, so on my trip from the airport to the hotel I just headed up it. It’s amazing how steep that road is. It’s even more amazing how they have houses up on the side of the mountain!! They have an amazing view, but no yards. And I wouldn’t want to try and get down the hill (or up it) with snow on the ground!!
Anyway, I just wanted to show a couple of pictures I took with my phone. Geeze, you would think I’d be smart enough to bring my camera. Oh well, maybe next time!!
I got an email from TheGunSource with a subject of “Pretty Much The Most Awesome Product, Ever!”. There was no description of the product in the email, but when I clicked on the link I can see why. I can think of one person who will be all over this (looking at you Chris)!!
The product? Tactical Bacon!!!
The ultimate tactical accessory, the new Tactical Bacon from CMMG ® is simply amazing. Kept in an aluminum can for a shelf life of 10+ years, the CMMG ® Tactical Bacon is more affordable than other pre-cooked bacon producers, who offer no tactical packaging for their product. Including 9 ounces of pre-cooked bacon goodness, comparable to 3 pounds of raw bacon, the CMMG ® Tactical Bacon is perfect for camping trips, survival situations, a snack at the range, zombie attacks, and many other apocalyptic scenarios. Able to be eaten cold, or heated up, CMMG ® Tactical Bacon is sure to please bacon lovers of all ages.
Just watch it! Due to copyright laws, they won’t let it be embedded anywhere…so just click on the “video” and it will take you to youtube.
So I went to play some Boom Blox on the Wii last week and my worst fear came true…it wouldn’t turn on. Well, actually that statement is not true at all. First, that’s definitely not my worst fear. And second, it did turn on as far as the power coming on, but there was no display and no sound. The only way to turn it off was to hold the power button down for a few seconds. When the power turned off, it didn’t go to the normal stand-bye mode. Nope, the light turned straight to red.
I went through the normal troubleshooting, and then called Nintendo. The verdict was that a repair was needed. The cost? $85 smackaroos!!! With NO guarantee that when I get my Wii back that my saved data will be on it. So now I wait, hoping that all those hours of MarioKart, Zelda, and Super Smash Bros. haven’t been lost for good.
