So Leslie and I are looking for a new church to call home. Without going into a lot of detail it was just time for us to leave Lakeside. We’re looking for a Christian/non-demoninational or Baptist church, medium size, with good programs that will really get someone involved in the church. I think we are going to look at Highland Hills Baptist and First Church in Burlington. Any suggestions? It’s always nice to go to a church where you know people!
Saw this in the news this morning. It made me laugh. I’ve never been one to buy into this global warming propaganda. Now scientists are saying the world is cooling. Wow, could it be possible that maybe climate just doesn’t stay the same and goes back and forth?
It’s a sad day for Kentucky basketball fans. In fact, for college basketball fans across the nation. Mr. Wildcat, Bill Keightley, passed away at Cincinnati’s University Hospital after coming up to watch the Red’s season opener. He was 81 years old. I don’t think there is a person in the state of Kentucky that followed UK who didn’t know who Bill Keightley was. And from what I have seen and heard, there isn’t a person that met him that didn’t like and respect him. He was the face of Kentucky basketball! It’ll be strange watching a UK game without him on the bench, considering I have never in my life done that seen a UK he wasn’t at.
