Come rain or shine we are having a garage sale on Saturday from 8-3, if anyone wants to stop by and buy something really cheap (just don’t be offended if something we are selling is a gift you gave us)
Recently I’ve become more and more cautious about my identity on the internet. It’s obvious with the precautions I’ve taken on my website. On Facebook and MySpace I have taken the precautions of blocking anyone from viewing my profile that isn’t a “friend”. I, unlike a lot of people on these social networking sites, do limit my “friend list” to my real friends. Some people let anyone view their profile, or will add anyone to their list. This gives them access to quite a lot of information, especially on Facebook. Many people have their birthdays, spouses name, town they live in, phone number, and email address listed in their profile while it is viewable to anyone with an account for that site (or will add them as a friend without knowing them). It really is just asking someone to steal your identity if you stop and think about it. Even if they don’t steal your identity, your opening the door for spam email, spyware, and malware through emails. Here’s your warning…go to your accounts, see how much personal info you have displayed, and check who can see it. Take the precautions, it’s well worth it! Below is an article about the issue:
Check this out…the Florence Freedom are having a bobblehead night on August 19th. Who’s the bobblehead? Well, it’s not who…it’s what! It’s a “bobblehead” of the Florence water tower with the infamous “Florence Y’all” slogan. Here’s the catch. You must have two tickets to get one bobblehead, so you can’t buy one ticket and show up just to get the bobblehead. Check the story out below:
Well, Leslie and I went into Steve and Barry’s today for the first time. I had a couple pairs of shorts my mom bought me from there, and my nephew has a pair of Stephon Marbury’s Starbury brand shoes from there as well. My shorts are pretty nice (they are khaki and camo), and his shoes were pretty cool. Cost of my shorts? $6 a pair. His shoes? $15! I definitely won’t be buying clothes from anywhere else unless I can’t find them there. Today I bought a pair of jeans for $13 and an NKU t-shirt for $8. While the prices are ridiculously low, it appears that the quality of the clothing is pretty good. It’s not just a sports clothing store, either. They have khaki dress pants, polo’s, women’s clothing, and some baby clothes as well. If you need some new clothes, definitely go check them out if you haven’t already!
I got Lori to ride the slingshot/reverse bungee at King’s Island….nuff said!
