A while back I posted about the University of Louisville finding adult stem cells in the bone marrow of mice that mimicked embryonic stem cells…meaning they could be “persuaded” to turn into any type of cell. Now, other scientists are confirming and duplicating the research from UofL. In Illinois, they have even found these cells in human umbilical cord blood. What really ticks me off is there is this roaring debate about Bush’s veto on the bill to lift the restrictions from embryonic stem cell research, and nothing is being said about this research. We have now found adult stem cells to use in place of them, but you still don’t here that being brought up in the news. Why not? I think this is something every person needs to know about. If you agree with me, then pass the below link on to people. Post it on your website. Email it to your friends. I’m tired of this left-wing propaganda saying Republicans are against science because we don’t want to kill embryos.
Ok, just so everybody knows…it is hot in Riverside, California. I’ve been looking at a few weather websites, and the temperature (depending on which site you go by) is between 110 and 117 degrees farenheit. Plus, it isn’t even the hottest part of the day yet. That’s still to come in another hour or so! Yes, the one time I come to California has to be when they are having a record-setting summer of heat. It’s a good thing I’m stuck inside working…wait, did I just say that?
This is the coolest video ever! Watch this kid breakdance!
Tomorrow morning I’m leaving on a jet plane for California. I’m heading out for 6 days for work. Before you get jealous, I should let you know that I’m going to Riverside. Yeah, but it gets even better. In another month, I have to go back to California again. This time to Compton!! Isn’t it wonderful how I get to visit all the nice places in California
With the addition to the family coming in a few months, we decided that my little 2-door Chevy Cavalier was not a good car to have to get a baby seat in and out. I did some research on a few cars, and I decided on a 2007 Dodge Caliber. You may not be familiar with the Caliber, because the 2007 model is the innaugural line of the car. Needless to say, I love my new car…it rocks!! I have added a few pictures of it, so just click on the picture below. I also added some new pictures of Belle. There are pictures of when I took her hunting for the first time, and also a few miscellaneous pictures. Oh, and I also added a random image from my picture gallery on the sidebar.

Short post. Reds suck cause they traded Kearns, so now I’m digging all my Braves stuff out of the closet!! Time for the Jones boys to get them back into first place!!
