Since I can’t think of anything to post I thought I would pass along a fun website. You may have seen this, especially if you have STARS on your cable or satellite. It’s famous movies being re-enacted by bunnies and in 30 seconds…hilarious! Check it out:
Jorge Larrionda should be banned from being a referee at any soccer/football game ever, much less a World Cup game. In case you missed the US vs Italy game, he completely ruined it. Three red cards in one game?!? Granted, one was deserved. This would have been a great game if it weren’t for him. Oh well, at least the US is not eliminated. If they and Italy both win on Thursday, they will make it to the knockout round.
Well, I’ve found a poll that I think I like. I don’t, however, think I am going to go through my old polls to save them. For one, there weren’t that many. I think I would spend more time recovering them than what they are worth (which is basically…nothing). So enjoy the new poll. There will be many more to come.
Well, the doctor confirmed it. I have exersize induced asthma. This has caused me to have headaches, dizziness, chest pain, muscle cramps, and a few other problems every time I do something really physical…like running. There were times I literally thought I was going to pass out. It got so bad my senior year of high school that I had to quit cross-country because we thought I was having heart problems. My doctor prescribed me an inhaler to use before I exersize. I tried it out today, and all I have to say is “WOW”. I wish I could go back to high school knowing what I know now!! My goal is an 18-minute 5k within a year. Pretty lofty goal and one that I may not make, but at least it gives me something to shoot for!
This is one of the funniest wrestling bloopers I have ever seen. Watch carefully as Charlie Haas bounces off the rope. He drills Lilian Garcia as she is exiting the ring and knocks her down. Funny stuff!!
Ok, I just saw an article that said an online gambling company has 100,000-1 odds that the world will end tomorrow…06-06-06. Now, we will just ignore the stupidity that tomorrow isn’t really 666, but 06-06-2006…or that there have been previous 06-06-06′s…or many other logical explanations that reject people’s hysteria and ignorance. Ignoring that, the guy running the company said many bets have been placed on both sides. How stupid is that? Think about it. If you bet $1,000 that the world won’t end tomorrow and it doesn’t, you would get a penny back! Now lets say you bet $1,000 that it will end and it does, then you would win $100 million…but good luck trying to collect on that money considering the world is destroyed and all. Seriously, how dumb can people get?
Well, the Kentucky Renaissance Festival was a little of a let down. Granted, we were there on the first day of the festival…ever. They didn’t have all of the buildings finished yet. They were actually still building while people were there. The stage that the performers were supposed to be on wasn’t finished, either. The vendors were still setting up, and did I mention it was MUDDY. I know it rained a lot, but they hadn’t put down anything to soak up any of the mud or water.
Now that I have expressed my dissapointment, let me say this. This will be a very nice renaissance festival when they have it complete. They have a large amount of land, a campground, and lots of trees. The highlight is the wooded area. They have paths and vendors set up in the woods. It’s really nice to be able to get out of the sun, and it adds a nice environment. I think we will try to go back next year and check it out again. However, I have a feeling that the experience will be a lot better in just a few weeks.
Well, it’s nice to see the critics finally coming to their senses. They recently awarded the Nintendo Wii the Best in Show award at the recent E3 (it’s THE video game expo). Personally, I think the Wii is going to put Nintendo back in front as the premiere gaming console. Sony and Microsoft have put too much into graphics. They are willing to leave fundamental gameplay and creativity on the wayside just to have better graphics. Nintendo, however, is putting their money into imagination and creativity. They are going to bring a new spark to the video game world. It’s true that the Wii will lack the graphics capability of the Xbox 360 or the PS3, but the fact that gameplay will be more fun and it will cost a LOT less…I think Nintendo has a winner on it’s hands. Check out the article from Fox News about the award:
