Today was a big day for Belle. Today was her first day outside without a leash on. We bought her a shock collar for just this reason. I want to take her hunting with me, but I need to know she will come when called. This was the first run for testing that, and she did great. We walked around the yard, in the brush behind the house, and even had a race around the house. She was so happy to be able to run around without a leash.

I have done a LOT of business with tigerdirect.com (no, I will not link to them and I will pull their link from my links page ASAP). I recently made a small purchase from them. Three days ago to be exact. I received an email today saying that my order was on hold and I had to contact them to get it released. Well, I called and waited on hold for an HOUR. Finally, I was transferred to the finance department. All they did was ask for my name and the order number. When I told her, she said she would process the order and get it shipped. What the??? Nothing was wrong, they just made me call in. When I asked what the delay was, I was presented with a couple answers that I quickly debunked. First, she asked if I had made any orders with them. I told her I had made a total of 7 orders with them. Then she said “Well, you probably haven’t made a large order that we had to confirm”. Umm??? This isn’t a large order, so why would you need to confirm this one? I also let her know that one of my orders was over $1300. She ran out of answers after that. While still remaining calm, I explained to her that I made the order 3 days ago, and that the shipping is 3-5 days. This means the package should be showing up any day, but since it took them 3 days to even process the order I am going to be waiting *click*, she hung up on me. I would have expected her to direct me to the department to make complaints. Nope, just hung up. I normally check the Better Business Bureau to see how a company rates, but I didn’t for tiger direct. Big mistake. I checked them out a little while ago, and man are there a lot of complaints about them. Anywhere from bad service to being sent used/refurbished items when new items were ordered. Yep, this company will NEVER get my business again. I’ll pay more somewhere else before I order from them again. Consider this your warning!!

Well, I’ve made a few more changes. First off, I changed the order in which comments are displayed. They are now displayed from oldest to newest. This is kinda the standard in blogging, so I thought my website should do the same. Also, I added 18 new emoticons. To do this, however, I had to make it so that you have to click on the emoticon to add it. I would have liked to have kept it so that it would put in the emoticon if someone entered something like ;-) but with so many emoticons it was really complicating things. Anyway, I’m in an updating mood so keep checking back because I am working on enhancing my website even more!!

Leslie emailed me this joke today. I thought it was funny:

Four football fans go rock climbing one afternoon: a Bengals fan, a Browns
fan, a Steelers fan, and a Ravens fan. They had been arguing all the way up
the mountain about who among them was the most “die-hard” fan.

Upon reaching the top of the mountain, the Ravens fan proclaimed to the
other four, “This is for the Baltimore Ravens!” and then threw himself off
the mountain as a form of sacrifice.

Not to be outdone by a Ravens fan, the Browns fan jumped up and said, “This
is for the Cleveland Browns!” and then threw himself off the mountain as a
form of sacrifice.

Refusing to be outdone by the Ravens fan and the Browns fan, the Bengals fan
rose to his feet and yelled at the top of his lungs, “This is for the
Cincinnati Bengals!” and without any hesitation, pushed the Pittsburgh
Steelers fan off the mountain. WHO-DEY!!

First off, I must apologize for those of you that either visited my site after it was hacked, or those of you that came while I was trying to update a few things. After I was hacked, a few inappropriate things were posted on my site. They were only there for a short time, so I hope not that many people were exposed to them. Because of that, I have been making a few changes to my site. None of which, however, will make a difference to how it displays. For one, I have switched where my databases are stored. Hopefully, they will not be hacked again. I have also made a few changes so it is easier to change my color scheme. I’ve been wanting to make the colors on my website match the season/holiday/special occasion that will be in the near future. Now that I’ve made the changes, hopefully I’ll follow through on that.

I’ve been pretty mad at Ernie since I voted for him. He’s done some stuff that I really didn’t agree with. I vowed that I would not vote for him again. But what’s this….Ernie is trying hard to regain my vote. From raising teacher’s pay to teaching intelligent design in schools, he is trying really hard. I’m not sure if agree with him on the 70 mph proposal, but the rest I do! I think the one I most agree with is about the unions. I can’t stand unions. Who are they to tell people they can or can’t work! Anyway, check out what he is proposing:
