Behemoth Droppings

I was going through some of my older posts the other day, and I noticed that some people had left comments on these older posts and I had never seen them. This kind of bothered me because some of the posts needed to be deleted! They were on my website way too long, and I apologize to anyone that might have seen them before me. There may still be a few, but hopefully I’ll get through all of them and make sure. Since I have 200+ entries, it’s gonna take a little while to check them all. These could have been avoided, however, if I had programmed my RSS feed a little better. You see, the current RSS feed doesn’t check the comments added. It also only monitors the entries that are on my homepage, which is the 14 most current ones. I wanted to be notified if someone left a new comment on my website without having to check every post. So with a small code change, I present to you the Special RSS Feed. Yep, not only does it check user comments, but it covers every post I ever made. I doubt anybody would want this besides me, but I figured I would put it out there just in case. Now I will be notified if a new comment is left on any post on my website.

Well, I finally got my new printer today. Hurray, I can print again. I decided to go with a Canon. I got the Pixma MP450. It’s pretty sweet. I had an Epson, but it died. Here’s a piece of advice….DON’T BUY AN EPSON PRINTER!! It had the same problem that a lot of Epson printers have. The print head clogged on it, and I couldn’t print anything. It lasted just over a year, so the warranty was bad. I started checking the internet, and found that a lot of people have the same problems with Epson printers. Hurray for Canon!!

Well, anyone who knows me knows that my favorite cartoon ever is Dragon Ball Z. I was setting here watching Cartoon Network and guess what comes on at 10:30 at night? Yep, DBZ!! I really miss running back from class to see the episode I had to tape because NKU didn’t offer the class at a different time! I also remember the time that Gohan went “Norman” on Cell!! C’mon Ben, you remember!!!! Ahh, the memories. One of these days I will own every episode and movie of Dragon Dragon Ball Z ever released.

I just checked The Weather Channel and saw something scary. It was tropical storm Rita. The storm is headed into the Gulf of Mexico and could very likely hit in the same area Katrina did. The current course has it west of Louisiana, but that could very well change. Forecasters predict that once it hits the gulf waters it will turn into a very powerful hurricane. All we can do is hope and pray for the best. I think if New Orleans gets another hit like before, it may just sink into the ocean.

Well, on Friday I will be having my wisdom teeth cut out. Yep, all 4 of them. I’m kind of worried about one of them. It is laying at an angle and it’s really close to the nerve. The oral surgeon said that there is about a 3% chance that when the blood clots up after it is removed that it could put pressure on the nerve. He said it could cause a tingling sensation that could last up to 6 months. Geeze, that would get annoying. Hopefully all will go well. At best I’ll be out of commision for few days.

Yesterday evening I went with Alex to Crossroads at the BSU. It’s been almost 3 years since I have been to a Crossroads….it’s kind of scary! It was great! The worship was awesome, and the speaker they had was good as well. This evening, I have an audition at Lakeside to play guitar in the Sunday morning services. I really miss playing for services. I also really need to get involved again at church. I was also talking to Dustin, and we were talking about getting the old praise band back together to start playing again. That would be great. Who knows, we might even play at a few churches.

Well, Chris decided to tag me so I guess I should get around to doing this!!

Well, it has officially started. College football is here. And what’s the biggest game of the year? Of course it’s the Louisville vs Kentucky game!! Yes, I know that UofL is a much better team but it’s still exciting!! Every year Kentucky makes it a good game. It would be great to see them pull out an upset this year. I’m watching the game right now, and it has been nothing but an offensive game. Nobody’s defense has done anything. 3 drives and 3 touchdowns. Should be pretty exciting. Go UK!!!

Yep, it’s that time of year again. My favorite time of year….football season. Well not just football season but fall in general, but football season helps!! Tonight I’m going with Lori to the Bengals final preseason game against the Colt. Woohoo, get to see Peyton! Yeah, this is gonna be fun!
